Ma'Rosa is the country's official entry to the 69th Cannes Film Festival. It is directed by the internationally awarded Filipino Director Brillante Mendoza. The independent film garnered the Best Actress Award for the performance of Ms Jaclyn Jose.

The film is shown in select cinemas only since July. For a master piece like this, it is only fitting that it should be shared to as many Filipinos as possible. We in Cagayan de Oro request our city's cinemas to let us co-celebrate in this gift.
