Keep Kith Cafe in Quayside Isle

Keep Kith Cafe in Quayside Isle
The Issue
To the management of CDL,
we learned today that one of your longest-term and highly successful tenants at Quayside Isle is being forced to vacate their premises due to a competitor offering to pay more in rent for that particular location.
We want to formally write to you to ensure management fully understands the impact this will have on the residential community in Sentosa.
You may notice, if you saunter down quayside isle at any time of the day, that Kith is the only shopfront that has any atmosphere due to the regulars who frequent it and the visitors who visit it on the basis of their good reputation. It is exactly the kind of retail tenant that a developer would want to have. It creates buzz, attracts people to the area and allows the residents a place to commune and socialise.
Alas, we are learning that this will no longer be the case. It seems short-sighted and greedy of CDL to be putting kith management in a position where staying is no longer tenable. If your only consideration has been a financial one then we are afraid you may find that this is short-sighted.
In writing this, we hope you appreciate how negatively this decision is being felt by residents across Sentosa who consider Kith to be part of their daily lives on the island.
Yours sincerely
