Biking news
Time goes past and its time for some more biking news with no mention of the election..........
Of course its Biketober with lots of events and ideas to check out
CCC approves more bike trails and the updated Christchurch Bike Trail Map now displayed in the Waipapa bike park
In addition there is a call to provide feedback to Te Whatu Ora's sustainability team on your running/biking/scootering experiences using hospital 'End of Trip' facilities (for example showers, lockers, and bike parks).
Your feedback will help shape a new End of Trip Facilities Hospital Design Guide that aims to improve the standard of facilities which support hospital staff to walk, run, cycle, and scooter to work across all hospitals.
We are running three online sessions to gather feedback. If you’re interested in participating, please register for one of the following three sessions:
Monday 16 October 1:30am-2:30pm Register here
Tuesday 17 October 9:00am-10:00am Register here
Wednesday 18 October 11:30am-12:30pm Register here
The sessions will start with a short presentation by the project lead Michael from Studio Pacific, and the remainder will be dedicated to discussing your feedback and ideas. We will send a follow up email offering participants the chance to give more detailed feedback in their own time.
If you are unable to attend one of the three sessions but are still interested in providing feedback, please let us know and we will make sure that you have an opportunity to provide feedback via email - maggie.brown@hbdhb.govt.nz
Enjoy the not having to remember your lights and (hopefully) waterproofs as you head to and from work
Feedback or thoughts welcome
