Some positive bike news

Hi
I had another look at the new bike parking space today, its going to be great - big, dry, secure with internal access to LGF Waipapa. Not sure exactly when it will open but I'm hoping for an early Christmas present.....
I want to acknowledge Peter Bramley for signing off on the funding for this development.
The plan is to move stands from outside the old ED caged site (which will be removed) and provide new stands as well including e-bike and scooter racks. Overall our parking capacity will be increased by about 200, there will be about 500 parks in the new area. The mortuary caged area will remain with less racks to improve ergonomics once the work has finished in this area.
In the meantime CCC are providing free tamper proof stickers or "Shields" for those who register their bikes with the 529 Garage project (supported by NZ Police and CCC).
Details will follow about where to pick up the Shields on campus - first Register your bike
