Bike Petition THE MEETING

Hi

Well I met with Sir John Hansen Chair of the CDHB Board yesterday with support from Richard French Clinical Director of Service Improvement and ex CD Anaesthesia.

We looked at the current facilities which Sir John conceded were inadequate. Sir John was surprised he had not heard of the issue before - we need to complain more! Seriously bring up the issue wherever you can.

We discussed where more space could be found for bike parking in particular the old locked facility by the RMO room LGF but access is problematic. Sir John said he's not a magician but if we can find some space bike parking is much cheaper than car parks however money is always in short supply.

I will keep pushing, any ideas of where we could have another bike park let me know (especially after the migration to new building).  Current ED will not be available, I'm going to ask about the ambulance bays...........
