Hello all-

My campaign for Congress has ended thanks to the utter malfeasance of two staffers charged with insuring one simple thing--getting 1000 valid signatures for the petition to get me on the ballot.  It was shocking, devastating, and humiliating.  Was it the worst thing that ever happened to me?  No, that happened coming up on 7 years ago.

I had over 2000 individual contributors to my campaign and sent an email to all letting them know I would offer a prorated refund or they could leave the funds in a new PAC I've formed--Andy's Fight.  To my amazement and gratification, only six people asked for their money back.  I'm humbled and grateful for the faith they've put in me to make a difference.

In the aftermath of this debacle, I'm going to make lemonade out of lemons.  Andy's Fight will support candidates committed to legislation for sensible gun laws and reforming the other evil--social media.  My positions are codified in this Op-Ed in the Independent.

To be very clear, Gray is still on my radar.  With your support, I'm not going to let them skate.  Together, we can punish the bad guys.
