I know it's been forever since the last update but this doesn't mean we've stopped fighting.
Our campaign is still going strong. It's been over a year and we finally have some development on the lawsuit front.
Some of you may not know this but CBS had to deal with a lawsuit regarding MacGyver. Most of us think it was the real reason behind the cancellation. But now the lawsuit has been settled and there's so much more hope for our show!
Hopefully you haven't given up and you can all keep fighting with us!

Hey everyone!
It’s been a while since our last update, and SO much has happened in the #SaveMacGyver campaign! Here’s what we’ve accomplished as a fandom:
Our hashtag has 930k+ tweets.
Our petition has 30k+ signatures.
We've had 4 billboard campaigns in 15 US cities.
We put up 19 lift + escalator panels in London.
We've sent 1.6 million+ paperclips to CBS and Amazon Freevee.
We’ve mailed PR packages and 1 Year Anniversary Books to networks, streamers, and media outlets.
We've mailed 6000+ postcards to CBS, Paramount+, Amazon Freevee, Prime Video, and Netflix.
We've made 1.5 million+ Netflix requests.
We're streaming constantly on Amazon Freevee, Prime Video, and Paramount+ - and MacGyver is ALWAYS in the “popular TV” category!
In July 2021 #GiveBackSaveMac resulted in over 100 charitable acts in 1 month.
Also in July 2021 we did a #MacGyverTakeover of MacGyver creator Lee David Zlotoff's social media.
In August and September 2021 the first ever #MacGyverCon raised over $5500 for charity from the sales of video panels and raffle tickets.
Our second #GiveBackSaveMac event in November and December 2021 resulted in 27 charitable acts.
Is that impressive or what?! And NONE of those accomplishments would’ve been possible without all of YOU! Your dedication and tenacity is so incredible!
And the news doesn’t stop there: the profits lawsuit that we believe may have been a deciding factor in MacGyver’s cancellation has officially been settled (article here with more info: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/cbs-settles-macgyver-profits-battle-1235143368/ which means that if a network or streaming service is interested in purchasing the rights to MacGyver and making Season 6 it just got much easier for them to do so!
This means we need to fight harder than ever, and streaming MacGyver consistently across as many platforms as possible is our most valuable tool! Doing this shows potential buyers that there’s still a demand for it. Depending on what country you’re in, you can stream MacGyver for FREE on Amazon Freevee, as well as on Paramount+, Prime Video, and more. Also consider looking for reruns on cable channels in your area and DVRing them to keep the ratings high!
Something else that is SUPER important is continuing to communicate (respectfully and politely) with CBS/Paramount, as well as other networks and streaming services. #OperationEmails is ongoing and it’s easy to participate (more info here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PUSc6pv6LYOQIWPhUKsbojl5JRnNZPBcT63fXxFKlGk/edit

Commenting on ALL social media for CBS, Paramount, Paramount+, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Amazon Freevee is a great way to let them know you want Season 6!
