The Issue
Castle Rock, Colorado in the year 2015. Holly Moore was murdered by one or more individuals - one week after her 19th birthday. The homicide was quickly covered up.
Since than, the entire family and Justice For Holly Moore team have been fighting for justice and a fair investigation into the case.
CBI , state police, was only allowed to conduct a peer review on minimal information provided by the Castle Rock police department. This is due to the nature of Colorados' "Home Rule" law.
Channel 7 news aired a piece where the news reporter elected to insert a video clip from another case - making it appear to the viewers that a full investigation with DNA testing was done. The CBI Director called Robert Wells (Dir of FOHVAMP) after channel 7 aired a news piece and asked if the family was ok. He told Robert Wells that NO full investigation was done and no DNA testing was completed. Bad journalism.
Forensic teams have conducted DNA tests. The results of their findings in 2019 point in the direction of what everyone has been saying all along. This is a homicide and needs to be properly investigated.
The Castle Rock police department and City Attorney have both failed in responding to the Chain Of Custody transfer. They advised us that we need to sign a document to hold them all harmless. This will probably set a precedence . The Colorado Attorneys General office was notified in early 2019 with no response.
The Douglas County Coroner tried to break the chain-of-custody when transferring evidence in a closed case - four years after the murder. The DC Coroner tried to trap a citizen in a room b- separating them from DNA expert - by yelling and aggressively closing a door behind them (per recording obtained).
The DC Corner threw the DNA evidence at a DNA Forensic experts face
Coroner has made threats to citizens "I'm going to let this go a little ways, than I'm going to put a stop to this" (per recording).
One person of interest has made death threats to victims family as well as victims close friends (per witness statements and permanent restraining order).
Family and Justice For Holly Moore team has Protested with signs, Held events to raise awareness and exposure, and has gone to Families of Homicide Victims and Missing Persons events here in Colorado.
