A wall erected for no purpose but to cause great distress to a very elderly couple.

Arthur and Eva Evans are an elderly couple who bought their final home to enjoy their twilight years in the peace and tranquillity of the country. Over 12 months ago their neighbour decided to begin erecting a two metre 'garden wall', even though there is no actual garden, just a driveway, within two feet of the gable end of their property thus reducing the light entering into their living room, nor allowing them to maintain the outside of their property or even clean the windows. The metal fencing has been erected there throughout this time & as you can see, totally blocks out the light & view from the window.
I cannot stress enough how this, along with other ongoing issues with the same neighbour, is causing them extreme distress & is affecting their already frail health. A number of people have indicated they wish to make a stance and put the objection forward, something needs to be done for Arthur & Eva's wellbeing.
We need the local authorities to insist building regulations take some responsibility and check the validity of this wall being built, as well as assess the impact on this very elderly couple who are not able to fight such things themselves.
If you object to their plight, please please sign the petition.
