We condemn the public support by Carwyn Jones, First Minister of Wales, for air strikes on Syria opposed by the majority of the people of Wales.

We are appalled at his failure to support even his own party policy that their should be no military action without a debate and vote in parliament by democratically elected MPs, and we are dismayed that he has chosen to support Theresa May and Donald Trump over his own party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

We call for the Welsh Government to issue an immediate statement condemning the Tories airstrikes and condemning military action with no vote in parliament.
