I'd like to thank the city officials that put on this meeting. They were told that they shouldn't do it and it was a waste of time.
The meeting tonight was mostly questions with little to no answers. The city is sticking to the idea that a working group will be necessary and wrote down most of the questions asked.
It is apparent that the city is more concerned with the landfill and new housing development than what we want.
The city and landfill official stated that the landfill will not be moving the new section. This new section is what has started the issues.
The city also said that the new housing development will be built regardless of anything. The development will be within 5,000 yards of the range. The city said that there will be a public hearing on the development December 20th. I'll post the media release if and when it comes out.
I was interviewed by two news stations and please don't give me to much of a hard time. I had no idea I was going to be interviewed and it was my first time. I have grown a mustache and I probably look ridiculous.
There were many wonderful questions asked. All of these people with exception to one are smarter than me and better at public speaking. I hope that everyone stays active as this battle continues. We're not even close to being done with this!
