We would like to have the Enfield Town Council request to obtain the Scantic River park property rights from the state of CT.  This will allow for the proper management of this park which has become a progressively worse over the last 5 years.  The town of Enfield has implemented several interim solutions none of which worked in the long term due to the Town of Enfield having limited authority as this is a state park.  If the Town of Enfield does not obtain the property rights the current ongoing issues will continue to get progressively worse as the state does not have the budget nor the man power to properly administer this park and the residents of Enfield will continue to suffer the negative consequences of its non-management.
