My husband and I just went down Llanelli beach for a little evening stroll. We got ourselves a delicious Turkish Delight ice cream from the kiosk and after eating it decided we were a little bit thirsty. We returned to the kiosk to get a drink. We were shocked to find out that they are not allowed to sell any drinks at all because only Flanagans Cafe upstairs have the licence to sell drinks, even though in the summer the cafe shuts at 6pm with last orders at 5:30, just as everyone is getting home from work. So if you go to the beach after work, maybe taking your children down there for a play in the sand or just for a long stroll down the front don't expect to be able to buy yourself, or your children a drink. The kiosk have even offered to only sell drinks outside of the cafe's opening hours and they've offered to split the profits.. I think it's absolutely ridiculous! Lets try to change this.
