Following the floods of 2015, Carlisle's Stony Holme Golf course and Clubhouse were fully re-opened earlier this year after a lot of hard work. 

The City Council awarded the tender to run the course to Mack Golf (AMG) Ltd.  In early October, this company went into administration citing "unavoidable financial circumstances", causing jobs to be lost and leaving the Club members without a course to play on.  What's more, the course and clubhouse are not currently being maintained and will, in time, fall into considerable disrepair.

The club has a membership of approximately 200 people from all different backgrounds and all age groups.  It serves as a vital social hub for all, but particularly for our senior citizens.  It is also a great way to exercise and keep fit.

We need Carlisle City Council to re-open the Course and Clubhouse as soon as possible and give us back our home.
