Victoria Viaduct has been closed again due to the poor structural integrity of the abandoned Central Plaza Hotel. This is the second time the buildings poor state of repair has forced the closure. As well as being one of the main routes into the City for traffic, this is causing an inconvenience to both shoppers and workers on foot, but, even worse, it's negatively impacting several businesses and has even caused job losses. We ask the relevant authorities to start work to demolish this building as soon as possible.
