We've reached 1,895 signatures on our petition! Thank you so much for your support. Our goal is to reach 100,000 signatures in just 30 days. The well-being of family caregivers, direct care workers, and care recipients depends on us fighting for the change they need.

Do you or someone you know provide support and care for a family member, friend, or neighbor? You're not alone. One in five people in the US are family caregivers, yet many don't even recognize themselves as such. This has led to a public health crisis where these unsung heroes provide over $650 billion dollars of unpaid care, all at the cost of their own physical and financial well-being.

Adding to the pressure is a shortage of direct care workers, leaving family caregivers feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. Respite care is often unaffordable for them. That's why we need your help. We're calling for caregiver relief and recognition.

Our mission is to make sure presidential candidates and the public understand the struggles of family caregivers. We want their needs to be addressed at the upcoming White House conference on aging in 2025. This is where the government focuses on the aging population, and we must ensure that the voices of family caregivers are heard.

But we can't do it alone. We need your support to reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. By signing our petition, you show support for family caregivers and send a powerful message to those in power about the importance of addressing their needs.

Let's not forget about the hardships faced by direct care workers. These dedicated individuals often live in poverty and work multiple jobs just to make ends meet. Despite their invaluable contributions to the long-term care industry, their hard work and dedication often go unnoticed. We're advocating for better pay, working conditions, financial support, and healthcare for direct care workers.

Please take a moment to sign and share our petition with your friends, family, and community. It's time to ensure that the struggles and needs of family caregivers and direct care workers are no longer overlooked. Together, we can bring attention to this pressing issue.

The statistics for family caregivers after their caregiving journey is over are alarming. Recent studies show that over 30% of family caregivers experience depression and anxiety. Financially, many face debt and poverty as a result of providing unpaid care.

Similarly, the struggles faced by direct care workers must not be ignored. They often live at or below the poverty level and struggle to make ends meet. Despite their hard work and essential role in the long-term care industry, they lack the recognition and support they deserve.

As our aging population continues to grow, the need for family caregivers will only increase, placing more strain on these unsung heroes. We can't let them go unnoticed and unsupported.

By signing our petition, you're not only helping us reach our goal of being heard at the White House conference on aging, but also shining a light on these important issues. Together, we can make a difference and provide much-needed relief for family caregivers and direct care workers.

So please, take a moment to sign and share our petition today. Let's show our support for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
