FYI !!!!! VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BELOW

FYI There was a meeting held today, August 2, with Archbishop Myers and a person who is large fundraiser with the Archdiocese of Newark. When Archbishop Myers was asked about OLMC, he replied, “I no longer have control over Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I have washed my hands. I am retiring.” Furthermore, last week Father Joseph Scarangella of Immaculate Conception Church and the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Newark were at OLMC. There were no OLMC Council representatives or trustees present at this meeting. If we are still OLMC, then why were there no OLMC representatives present at this meeting? Who is in charge? Who is pulling the purse strings? Under canon law, we have filed our appeal and as a parish, we still have the right to know!! God Bless Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
