CF10 is a Cafe situated on the first floor of the SU. Not only does it serve great food at affordable prices for students, it has a great atmosphere and lovely staff and service. As a regular who eats there almost every week for 2 years, it is such a shame that the SU wishes to close it down. While there are other eating establishments within the SU, CF10 has a wider range of tastier food at a better standard and price. Additionally, every time our group eats there, it is always busy, and I feel a lot of loyal customers would be disappointed. It is also a nice, quieter place to sit and chat, or even work with a cup of tea and snack, as opposed to the nosier main floor of the SU. (Or for those who want a change of scenery from the library)

I have also got to know the great, hardworking, dependable staff over my time at uni, and it is a shame that they would be out of a job.

They wish to close it down to build a dance studio. While I agree a dance studio is a good idea, there are plenty of other spaces available to build this facility. I am aware there are many dance societies within the union and appreciate you need a space to rehearse, but there must be another space of use without getting rid of such a valued place to many. Not only this, but it also caters as a venue for hire in the evenings- would this still be available if a dance studio was in place instead?

Please keep CF10 open!
