County Commissioners Meeting in the bag

Dr.Val Finnel and myself presented the petition along with the names and ordinance to the Carbon Commissioners. Thank you to those who showed up in support. From the sounds of it the commissioners support the movement but also don’t agree with the verbiage of the word Sanctuary, totally understandable. They want to see more action from the municipalities before they take action. This means you all need to be calling , emailing or going to your local meetings and telling your officials you want this done. I believe that if we get half the municipalities then the county will adopt.
