Bring The Monster Hunter Title Both Nintendo and Monster Hunter Fans Want!

The title says it all. On June 13th, 2017, right after the Nintendo Spotlight E3 presentation, Capcom broke many Monster Hunter and Nintendo fans hearts with the announcement that Monster Hunter XX may not be localized outside of Japan. 

A little history, Monster Hunter XX is an enhanced remake of Monster Hunter Generations (Or Monster Hunter X in Japan) for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch family of systems announced on October 2016 (Nintendo 3DS version) and May 2017 (Nintendo Switch version). 

Upon the announcement of the Nintendo Switch version, both Capcom and Nintendo shares rose, and many investors saw this as a big business move. Naturally, many assumed that since Monster Hunter had a big name outside Japan (namely in the US territories), it would also boost initial Nintendo Switch sales as it had just launched. However, upon E3 2017, Capcom had announced they had no plans for localization for the title outside Japan, which shocked numerous consumers, as the Nintendo Switch was already meeting a high demand. As a result, many worry that Capcom took the ultimate decision in favor of any issues regarding Monster Hunter World (announced at SONY's PlayStation E3 2017 Press Conference) and its sales in 2018. However the decision may also hurt the current, and new fan base who promptly and eagerly awaited the release for Nintendo Switch. 

In regards as to what this petition is for, its to show Capcom, and Nintendo how much fans intend to release the title on Nintendo Switch. It may get noticed, or be thrown aside, but its worth a shot. The idea is to Show them that fans WANT this game on the Nintendo Switch. If Pokemon can make the jump, so can Monster Hunter, and fans would love it on the go and on TV. 

So sign this petition to show both companies that we want this game localized, and love the series. Give the Nintendo Switch the Monster Hunter it deserves everyone, and spread the word so we all can show that we are vocal, and that fans want this title here! Let's do this!
