What Is Labor Hiding About the Secret Statue?
It has come to our attention that the Allan Labor Government may have already commissioned—and possibly constructed—a statue of a living former Premier, sidestepping both protocol and the interests of millions of Victorians.
Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes is now over a month overdue in responding to an official Parliamentary request for transparency. Despite being obligated to answer, she continues to stonewall.
Why? What are Treasurer Symes and Premier Allan hiding from the people?
We had planned to launch a formal Parliamentary petition today, calling on the government to cancel the proposed statue, which could cost taxpayers up to $100,000.
But given this disturbing development, and the possibility that the statue may already be complete, I will now reframe the petition: it will demand that any installation or public display of the statue be stopped immediately.
To ensure accuracy and accountability, I will postpone the petition announcement for approximately 7 days—just long enough to confirm exactly what this secretive government has done behind closed doors.
The people of Victoria deserve answers—now.
