My goal in my #17 Tuesdays campaign has been to raise awareness of the need for Canada to meet the recent United Nations McIvor ruling that calls for the elimination of all the sex-discrimination in the Indian Act.

This week parliament is off and the Minister of Women and Gender Equality Maryam Monsef cancelled an appointment with a supporter. She did this on short notice without much of an explanation even though the appointment was made weeks ago. Come out this Tuesday and stand with me in support of Indigenous women's rights from noon - 1:00 pm. Monsef's Peterborough office is: 417 Bethune St.
