Kwey, I hit over the 3000 signatures mark - Miigwetch. I compiled these resources - links and images - and offer a brief summary of the recent 2015 Descheneaux / Yantha decision coming out of Quebec regarding the discriminatory way Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development Canada applies the second-generation cut-off rule to the descendants of women who married-out versus the descendants of men who married out. It is complicated - too complicated. But this effort may help people who want to think hard about the little particulars of the ongoing issues. http://anishinabeknews.ca/2016/03/13/sex-discrimination-in-the-indian-act-addressed-again-descheneaux-and-yantha/
