Kwey,
As most people will remember my court case was heading toward the Court of Appeal. Our materials were due on Jan 8th, 2016. Unfortunately this date was changed to May 9th, 2016. I am disappointed with this change but there is little that I can do about this ... .
Recently I wrote and published two articles published as reputable blog sites that have relevance that I think will interest people who are following my efforts:
Blogging for Equity
In this blog I point out that when Indigenous women struggle for their rights all women gain even in situations where they lose. In writing this short blog my goal is to encourage all women to stand behind Indigenous women in their efforts at eliminating the long time sex discrimination in the Indian Act. Here is the link:

Active History
In this blog I offer a personal story about my family's loss of Indigenous identity through the sex discrimination in the Indian Act. In telling this story I rely on family photographs and a 1945 letter from an Indian Agent where my great- grandmother was she told she became a "white woman" when she married a man who was only Indigenous through his mother line.
