I want Canada to follow The United States in creating a webpage connected to the governments website to which it will host open petitions and a promise from the Canadian Government that they will PERSONALLY reply (when a specific number of signatures are created) to any issue which is troubling Canadians.  

I believe this is important because of two main factors:

1. It would get the ball moving faster. 

2. It would cut out the middle man (petition sites) where most of the time, the validity of the signatures are what prevents the issue getting noticed by the House of Commons. 

I'm using this petition more of a group of like minded Canadians and for the Canadian Government to take notice. In the mean time, I'm e-mailing mps and community leaders to make this idea a bit louder. I suggest you do the same!
