I don't believe that this morning's update was send to our supporters as we are only permitted one update every 24 hours.  I apologize for merely reiterating my previous comments but I am new to this process and want to make sure that I inform you of our great progress.  Thanks to those of you who have been sharing the link and posting your comments.  Our comments follow two main themes.  First, those that are concerned that continuing tax season at breakneck speed will result in the spread of the virus and lead to office closures and hospital stays.  Secondly, those that are overwhelmed by preparing tax returns in the middle of a pandemic including the inability to get through on the CRA phone lines, being frozen-out of CRA on-line accounts, being unable to collect information from clients that are locked-down and problems dealing with staff working remotely.  The good news is that a supporter informed me that their MP shared our petition with the Minister of National Revenue.  Please continue to share our link with all of your colleagues so that we get the government to act ASAP.  Take care.
