The current animal cruelty laws have not been changed since 1887 and that is wrong.

How often have we heard, read and learned about the plight of innocent animals that have been intentionally harmed, abused or neglected in Canada? Too often and that is wrong.

We are within months of a new federal election here in Canada and animal cruelty laws must be made a platform issue and change must occur now!

Sociopaths will undoubtedly turn their sadistic and cruel behaviours onto innocent children and vulnerable people after they have had their fill of intentionally harming animals. People like Luca Magnotta for instance admitted to killing cats for fun. Now he is on trial for the murder of an Asian man.

Please say you will sign and share this petition that will be sent to The House of Commons, Prime Minister Harper and the other parties.
