What an amazing response to this petition - we have almost reached 700 signatures in just 5 days!  I was able to use the petition, even as it grew,  to pepper Prime Minister Trudeau and Foreign Minister Joly with email updates every hour on the hour, making good use of your support and hard work.

The result? Trudeau and Joly made a "decision" on Friday that Canada "does not accept the premise of the case brought by South Africa".  They also demanded that Hamas surrender, release all hostages, and stop using civilians as human shields. Was the Canada statement as strong as we would like it to be?  No.  But it was a step in the right direction.

So why don't we just declare "victory" and close this petition?  Because despite all the good we have accomplished, there is still much more to do.  There are over 335,000 Jews living in Canada.  Why hasn't every one of them signed?  Why hasn't every one of them told Trudeau, Joly, the Liberal government caucus and, indeed, the entire world, just how angry we are?  I can only think of one reason - they haven't seen the petition yet!  And judging from the fact that the petition continues to grow, that has to be right.

So I'm going to ask you, just one more time, to please take a moment and SHARE this petition.  Share it with every family member, friend, and contact you have.  Tell them how important it is to you.  Ask them to sign.
