We did it! This morning Minister Dion and Minister Qualtrough announced that the Government of Canada has begun consultations on Canada’s accession to the United Nations Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. As ministers Dion and Qualtrough said in their announcement, this is a good day for persons with disabilities, not only in Canada but the whole world.
