Within planning the future of Drummoyne, Council is considering changing the local heritage planning restrictions in the  Drummoyne area.

This time it is the Heritage conservation area at the north end of Victoria Road, to possibly allow developers to build high rise apartments up to 20m or 6 stories high. This area backs directly onto residential housing in Renwick Street.

If this change is approved our Heritage Conservation areas are no longer safe, and our suburb could lose its historical charm and significant historical homes may be under threat of being lost. This time it’s Renwick St, will your street be next?
