Spencer here with an update.

Petition signatures have almost reached our current goal, and we are working on new campaign materials and partnerships to create a stronger push for removing the policy which puts love and survival at odds for persons with disabilities.

As part of this, we are starting a series of stories from people impacted by the issue. You can read the first entry here:

"This whole situation has destroyed my mental health, as well as my partner's, when it’s supposed to be the happiest time of our lives"

It's so important to make the harsh reality of this policy known to more people - even some MLAs have commented that they didn't know about the issue until just recently.
