We represent a body of students who are concerned with the environmental impact that the University has. In particular, we’ve noticed a significant mortality in local bird population on campus and our goal is to decrease window strikes (and songbird deaths) by implementing bird safety films on the windows.

Our current effort at Stony Brook is to influence the construction of the proposed engineering building, getting the university to be more aware of its impact and include bird friendly architecture in the project.
