IT'S DONE! Well done and thank you to everyone that has signed and supported us along the way by signing the petition to Save the Gums Reserve from a BMX-Dirt Bike Racing Track.
The petition has now been lodged and receipted by Alyssa Hill (Community Engagement Officer) at The Campbelltown City Council along with a hard copy Community Petition and a hard copy Petition from The Gums Landcare Group, collectively we now have approximately 1000 signatures opposing the track.
I would also like to thank all the local residents that emailed me directly confirming your details and expanding on your thoughts regarding the track. I have included your emails as part of the petition which I know will definitely give further weight to our opposition.
The Petitions will form part of the next Council Agenda and I will keep you updated on the progress.
Well done everyone once again! A huge effort by the local community.
Cheers
Roxane Mallard (Roxy)
