Wow... Over 40,000 signatures now and getting closer everyday to our 100,000 target. Ryan’s parents would like to thank everyone that has signed and left them messages of support.

To lose their only child in the way Ryan lost his life is every parent’s worst nightmare. They will never have an opportunity to see him marry, have children or fulfil his potential and all because some scum & coward decided to stick a knife through his heart!!

And then to add to their already unimaginable grief, they are then floored even further by the devastating and unbelievable NOT GUILTY decision given by the Jury. We want all those Jury members to give us answers to how they could of possibly of come to their decision, given the evidence put before them in court?

In light of the principles of open justice and the general need for better transparency within our criminal justice system, it is only right and fair that more information following our perverse Jury decisions is made available to us.

Open justice is an important principle of our justice system. The decision of the Jury to set Ryan’s killer free has clearly shaken the confidence in our criminal justice system and shone a spotlight on the jury and the Justice System process itself.

Justice must not only be done; it must be seen to be done. Confidence in the jury process and our wider justice system depends on its ability to serve and protect the public.

We need you all to keep sharing and signing our petition as far and wide as possible, so we can get to 100,000 signatures ASAP. This will help towards supporting Ryan’s family’s future legal challenge (We will make an announcement very soon!!!).

We have said all along, we will fight this decision, however long it may take, until Justice is finally served for our Ryan.
