Hi Paran People,

I have some exciting updates regarding SAVE LAKE PARAN. With the momentum building behind "Save Lake Paran," we had a private donor come forward, offering a challenge grant for half of the cost of a weed harvesting work boat. 
 
This was a large deal for us being a small community run non-profit, first, that we have the tremendous support of some generous donors, second, having the chance to take on more responsibility for the health of the lake, third, we have the chance to develop a significant revenue stream from renting it out to other lakes and ponds in the region and selling the aquatic biomass as compost.

For more details on our summer conservation plans, please join us at a Public Meeting and Paddle on Tuesday, June 27th at 5pm. Bring your own boat or reserve a canoe or kayak from Lake Paran (you must sign a waiver), 5pm Paddle (meet on shore of Lake Paran swimming side), 6pm Public Meeting @ Lake Paran Pavilion.
