Good news with Mary Seacole she is now named after the first rehabilitation hospital for covid19 as a result of the petition plus media interest and alarming rates of death of BAME staff working in the NHS. I would like to thank for your support. I know several people also wrote letters to Matt Hancock and Sir Simon Stevens. I would to thank the personal backing from Baroness Floella Benjamin and Lord Simon Woolley from Operation Black Vote.

I hope this announcement this will to a permanent recognition of Mary Seacole in the NHS and greater recognition of BAME staff.
