Hello, I thank you on behalf of the millions of street children of our country for signing our petition and supporting our campaign seeking right to food, shelter, education and medical aid for these children. It’s indeed an honor to get an opportunity to communicate with a kind soul like you who is willing and ready to raise his or her voice for the rights of the most underprivileged section of our society. Thanks to your effort we now have 500 signatories to our petition. A great disadvantage of indirect democracy is that the voice of citizens like us is too feeble to pierce through the walls of power and reach those who have the authority to take decisions which we want them to take. However the solution to this problem likes in the old adage ‘ In Unity lies strength’. Though individually we may not be able to make an impact on the decision makers, but when we get together and work for one common and noble goal then our voices are too loud to be ignored. I am sure that the 500 signatures we have been able to gather till now and the 500 corresponding emails that the PMO must have received from Change.org would have drawn some attention to the problems of the street children. However to ensure definite and immediate action on our request, we need to convert our loud voices into a roar, which can not be ignored, and the only way to achieve this is to we collect more signatures in support of our campaign. Therefore I request you for one more favour, please share our petition in your online social groups, so that we can reach more and more people and enroll their support to our campaign. I am sure that if we all work together then the day is not far when we can proudly claim that we were the generation, which ensured that no child has to live a life of suffering and abuse on the streets.
