Stop Sports Direct opening in Kentish Town

Sports Direct is due to arrive in Kentish Town soon. It will take over the site which was Carpet Right and has recently been occupied as Solidarity Space, a centre for people, particularly homeless people, to come together and support one another.
The space has now been closed off by police and Sports Direct will be moving in soon.
Please help us to campaign against this new opening; Kentish Town is not an area that needs any more large chain shops moving in and there is a Sports Direct in walking distance on Camden High Street for those who easily want to access their wares!
The residents of Kentish Town are keen to retain some of the small high street and local feel of the area and take pride in supporting local business'. Having a large chain such as Sports Direct would go against everything that local residents strive to achieve in our local community.
