Here's the City's original "Invitation to Bid," specifying a contract amount of $1,350,000:

The project specs do not appear to be online; potential bidders are directed to inspect them at City Hall.
Add. 1 shows that the City received questions about which turf product would be acceptable for the job:

(Add. 2 simply notes a pagination error.)
However, Add. 3 confirms that permanent soccer goals are planned (which would make the fields less safe for sports other than soccer):

Its title, unstated in the original IFB, confirms that turf is planned for two playing fields:
"Artificial Turf Field Project, Soccer Fields 1 and 2, Danehy Park
Cambridge Parks and Rec told me on the phone that turf is planned for the third and last soccer field in 2014.
