"If you think this is ancient history, I am here to tell you that it is not." — Hannah Dreher, daughter of Dennis Massaro
Having just passed 750 signatures, we'd like to thank you personally, encourage you to take further action, and share Hannah's own explanation of why it's important.
Thank you!
You've given voice to our call for justice. It's being heard because of you.
Don't stop now!
Please alert others who care about the Wheaton College community so that they can sign the petition as well.
Why it's still important
In this video, Hannah shares what she endured as a child in the home of Dennis Massaro and explains why she's asking for your help in holding Wheaton College accountable for its role in the matter.
Drawing the line in the right place
We don't hold Wheaton College accountable for what Hannah suffered prior to her parents' divorce, but we do hold Wheaton College accountable for what she suffered at the hands of her father after the divorce.
We believe that Kathy (Massaro) Gallagher would have had little difficulty preventing her ex-husband from having unsupervised visits with her daughters if Wheaton College had not kept the true reasons for his dismissal secret—not merely from the public, but also from his own wife during the divorce proceedings.
You've already read as much in the petition itself, but now let's put a visual to it.
You're probably not a lawyer
Neither are we—but it doesn't take a lawyer to see what's going on in this document. We see Wheaton College's lawyer working overtime to prevent Kathy from gaining access to information about Dennis that could put the college in a bad light. What do you see?
We'll stop here, but as we approach 1,000 signatures, we hope to also provide a few words from the church in Turkey that, unaware of what he had done at Wheaton College, hired Dennis Massaro to be its pastor.
