Peace all, this week your outpouring of support took us above and beyond our goal of getting the message out. We are fueled by the discussion that is taking place in the community. We encourage all positive forms of activism around this issue. Let's examine the deeper systemic roots that got us here – how can we amplify the voices of those in the margins so everyone can have equal access to opportunities and support, especially when conflicts like this do arise? Let's talk about it. Above all, while we wait for Lisa Marie to come out and speak, we emphasize the need for compassion and empathy – just as it takes guts to speak out, we know it also takes courage to admit mistakes. We do not condone any of the malicious, divisive words and actions that anyone may have experienced as a result of this issue, especially around race and gender. We know that for justice to be restored, everyone must unite, including the parties at fault. We know we can reach a resolution. Thanks again for staying woke. Here's something inspiring that gave us energy this week. Reina Gossett, a trans filmmaker and activist, coincidentally came out about a similar issue on the same day Aja did. Reina's elevated words helped remind us that although it's deeply personal, this issue is part of a systemic pattern that should be addressed with systemic solutions.
