RN 70080T - Lucan Community College

The large scale capital project at Lucan Community College, is at Architectural Planning Stage 3 – Tender Action and Award.  The project brief includes a new extension and refurbishment of the existing building, to provide accommodation for 1000 pupils with classrooms for children with Special Educational needs.

The project was authorised to proceed to tender for the appointment of a Main Contractor and Reserved Specialists in July 2022. The Main Contract Tender package was uploaded to e-tenders by Dublin Dun Laoghaire ETB (DDLETB) to the shortlisted Contractors in May 2023.  The tenders were returned 28th June 2023.  The tender report was received by the department in October 2023. 

The tender report is currently under review and upon completion of this review, the Department will be in contact with DDLETB regarding the next steps involved in progressing the project.

The estimated contract duration is 20 months.
