We've almost reached 5000 signatures!

To our wonderful supporters!
Thank you so much for signing our petition asking the government to recognise children who care for a parent with mental illness in public policy by 2021.
The pandemic has had a devastating impact on mental health and made the support networks that children rely on harder to reach. Now more than ever, these children need to be recognised in public policy and receive dedicated support.
An incredible 4,713 of you have signed, but we need 10,000 signatures for the government to respond officially! We're almost halfway there, so please help us to go the extra mile and share with your friends, networks, family and colleagues.
At Our Time, we have been working hard to engage policymakers and MPs, submitting evidence to parliamentary committees, and working together with leading mental health and children’s charities – including the Mental Health Foundation, Coram, and the Centre for Mental Health – to get the government to do more.
