The bombing has stopped temporarily in Gaza. The destruction is almost total. WWJD?, as many cheering this onslaught on used to say. That expression has gone silent now.

In that vacuum of conscience, let us call on Pope Francis to go to Gaza and remain with them, offering not only prayers, but aid, food, and comfort. 

The Pope's continued presence would be the greatest gift anyone could give unto "the least of these my brethren."
