Dear All,
As a follow of yesterday’s update, we would like to bring to your attention the dire situation that continues to unfold in Haiti. Since the launch of the petition 3.5 weeks ago, the situation has deteriorated significantly. More and more whole neighborhoods are now under siege, homes are being occupied by gangs, and entire families are being kidnapped. It is a disturbing reality that our society is in dire need of assistance.
As concerned Haitian-Americans and US citizens, we firmly believe that a lasting and sustainable solution must come from within the Haitian society. However, it is evident that the haitian society and the Haitian national police force need external help. We need to raise our voices as Haitian-Americans (and concerned US citizens) for our Government to stand with those in Haiti trying their hardest to implement real changes.
The Haitian national police for instance needs much more substantial help Now!
That's why we are reaching out to you again today to urge you to continue to lend your support to the cause.
We firmly believe that by standing together and raising our voices, we can make a meaningful difference.
We call upon you to spend just 15 minutes of your time today to share the petition again and encourage those in your network to do the same. With over 750,000 Haitians in the US, we only need 2% of people to sign the petition to reach our goal of 15,000 signatures.
Let us unite and do our part to effect real change in Haiti. Your support will make a significant impact on the lives of those suffering in our country.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment and support.
Warm regards,
Group of concerned Haitian-Americans & US citizens.
