Dear colleague, dear friend,

I am delighted to give an update about Niloufar Bayani and to thank you once again for signing our very successful petition. After six years at Evin prison, Niloufar and her colleagues from the Persian Wildlife Heritage Foundation were released last year.  This week, Niloufar was able to leave the country and is doing well.  Our thoughts of course go to those who remain behind bars for their beliefs in basic human rights, notably Nobel peace prize winner Iranian journalist and activist, Narges Mohammadi.
