Thank you for your past support to call for equal rights for all workers and to demand the repeal of the repressive provision of the Immigration Reform and Control Act that has criminalized immigrant workers and divided working people for the past 30 years. Click here to see our recent stories. We are asking you to take further action

At a time when our country is torn by divisions, it is more important than ever that we build unity among working people, starting in our own communities. In this presidential election year, when issues such as immigration and labor reform will further polarize working people, we must start with the demand for equal rights for all workers.

The Break the Chains Alliance needs your help to call on working people in our own communities, workplaces, and among our friends and families to fight for equal rights for all workers, specifically:

1. Equal rights for all workers to organize & unionize:
- Protecting the rights of all workers under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), regardless of immigration status
- Protecting all workers from firing due to union/ organizing activities
- Protecting workers from harassment and retaliation, such as calling for deportation as a result of organizing
2. End the criminalization of undocumented workers and repeal the Employers’ Sanctions provision of the Immigration Reform and Control Act
3. Establish a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers in the country and ensure equal rights to citizenship.
