DEA, CDC, HHS, and FDA Demolished OUR Healthcare

Why would the DEA arrest doctors for “prescribing excess opioids?” How could certain doctors possibly do such a thing? Especially by law enforcement standards? Rather easily actually.

From a pharmacist’s viewpoint, ten or twenty years ago only pain specialists were “allowed” by healthcare protocols to TREAT AND PRESCRIBE narcotics to chronic pain patients. A CPP was forced by their general practitioner by referral to seek treatment from such a provider to receive care to obtain monthly or quarterly (3 month) prescriptions with insurance and DEA supervision for any chronic or severe chronic disease condition.

In fact, after the Fifth Vital Sign (Pain) was introduced, Pain Management Clinics and Pain Specialists took over the care of chronic pain patients to take the intensive, critical, and complex care of this particular class of patients off the shoulders of the general practitioners. Whether due to the AMA or the Insurance providers is a bone of contention but it is how chronic pain care was done until the beginning of 2012-2015.

During these years, the DEA with the release of the CDC’s fraudulently based 2016 Opioid Guidelines for the Chronic Pain Patient, began arresting and incarcerating pain specialists and pharmacists for over-prescribing and dispensing of “opioids” (as compared to other healthcare providers?) These specialists included cancer and end of life providers, dentists, and chronic pain care providers which the industry referred all their patients.

Of course their opioid prescriptions are higher than other providers, they care for PAIN PATIENTS! That is the predominant and only type of patient for which they treat by definition of their clinic! And they usually use the closest pharmacy or pharmacies CLOSEST to their clinics! Not by conspiracy, for patient convenience.

The DEA effectively set up the entrapment and sting operation in National History using illegal parameters and a back door to legislation by creating their own policies and protocols using departments and recommendations instead of legislation to destroy the healthcare and lives of millions of Americans, killing over half of the, while they were at it!

Americans are being slaughtered. Protected citizens… veterans, Native Americans, Rare Disease Patients, the elderly, children, and your neighbors and family members! YOU!
