We were shocked and extremely concerned by the Cabinet’s decision on 2nd November to proceed with the Abbey Fields Leisure plan!  To make a decision of this magnitude which commits up to £27million of funding (much of which will need to be borrowed) without a robust review of all available options is not acceptable or responsible. 
Before the final decision is made at the full Council meeting on 15th November PLEASE contact your local Warwick District Councillors, including WDC Council leader Ian Davison (Ian.Davison@warwick.gov.uk) and  insist that a full and proper review of all options is carried out for all the reasons already stated in the petition and many more. There are Cheaper, Greener and Healthier options so please do it this week, if you can, before it’s too late!
