New - adult ex-students of top academy describe long-term mental health impact

This is a difficult but important read - please share with your networks. Over 20 adult former students of one of the first academies have described the long-term impact of the school culture on their mental health. Their accounts are of national importance and highlight the need for action. They were submitted as part of the process that triggered a safeguarding review of the academy that pioneered a radical approach to discipline that has been widely copied by schools across the country.
